Passion in Long-distance Relationship

                                 Mobile Blinked. Her msg arrived. “m done wid dinnerJ.” Nitin smiled, he knows this is an indication that she is free to talk, and he talked with her for hours. Nitin use to work hard for whole day and then talk with his girlfriend, Jyoti, was giving him worth of living. It was regular schedule for him, waiting for night to talk with her.  Both of them were working in IT Company but were 1000 miles away from each other.

                                 In this mobile-age, they were emotionally connected to each other by means of technology. SMS, Skype and facebook were the means of sharing between them. Earlier Nitin was casual about his relationship. He always aimed to be Software Engineer, but this long-distance was making him more deep and passionate about her. This regular calls and msgs was making him to think of her frequently. This thinking was giving him an extra perspective on what is it he loved about her and why she is important in his life. Jyoti wants to stay as a couple and her words were the only one tool that was connecting him. Now, they approach each other more quickly than they were around each other. They have known each other from long and it’s the time to be alone again. Both of them were getting a feel of what life is like without special person.  Nitin never gives attention to any of his office-girls as he considered Jyoti as other side of his world. The couple, who use to fight a lot, learned to trust each other as it was only option left for them. While working, Jyoti was finding her own identity and was becoming more independent.  She realized worth of other thing and started focusing on them. Nevertheless, their priorities were changing.  Nitin was realizing value of Jyoti in his life while Jyoti was realizing worth of her career which she always dreamed about.

            Finally, the frustration of Nitin reached at his peak and he resigned from his job. He came to same city of Jyoti.  Jyoti was not pleased with his decision; she didn’t want Nitin to leave his job for sake of her.  Nitin anyhow got job in small company which was not worth for his career. However, he was happy in an assessment that he was with his love. He was fulfilling all his expectations which he dreamed to be with her. Meanwhile, Jyoti got an opportunity to work on-field in Germany.  When she discussed it with Nitin, he got disappointed as she even thought to discuss it. When Nitin opposed her to go, she yelled “I never asked you to leave your Job for me, if I m getting a golden opportunity to work on-field you are becoming a hurdle for my successful future.” Nitin was deeply hurt but Jyoti didn’t concern it much and left to Germany. She thought Nitin is emotionally entrapped and will later understand the practicality of life. She thought that she will marry Nitin whenever she will be back in India.

      She got busy in Germany and was not able to restructure her relation with Nitin. One day, she got Nitin’s mail . It consists of photos of his marriage. She was shocked seeing all those photographs of Nitin and his wife. She called him to know the reason behind this but he didn’t answer the call. Next day she got the mail from Nitin, “I don’t want to miss the golden opportunity to marry the girl who wants to spend her whole life with me.”
